Job description Candidate will be performing electrical work as well as installing photovoltaic (PV) systems, battery storage systems and EV chargers on homes and businesses. Candidate will be working on roofs, in attics, in crawl spaces, in garages and on the exterior of homes and businesses. Candidate Qualifications: Clean Drivers Abstract Live in Victoria area Red Seal Journeyman certification, FSR-B certification preferred Minimum 2 years Journeyman experience Candidates must be capable of: Working outside in rainy weather Climbing ladders Working on sloped roofs Using a phone to communicate with solar devices, send/receive files Carrying heavy loads (Up to 60lbs/27Kg) Working with hand tools Applying fundamental electrical circuit knowledge (series vs. parallel, voltage vs. current, batteries, and resistance) Having a good understanding of the Canadian Electric Code Small to medium commercial experience is beneficial Previous experience in the solar industry is a plus Providing hand tools and cordless drill Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Experience: Journeyman Electrician: 2 years (required) Licence/Certification: Drivers Licence (required) FSR-B (preferred) Willingness to travel: 50% (required)
